Old Fashioned Fair

These fairs offer a variety of livestock, farm goods and crafts for judging, a midway filled with amusements for the kids, product and animal demonstrations.

Sterling Fair Horse Pull

The Sterling (MA) Annual Fair is typical of many of the smaller fairs around New England.

The horse pull is one of the quintessential events at a lot of these fairs around New England. The two-horse teams have to rely not only on their strength, but also on timing and balance to get the best possible result.
